Job summary

trust recruit pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a trading professional to maximize profits from hot-rolled plate, long products, and slabs sourced mainly from Southeast Asian and Chinese mills.

The role involves trading HRP with Singapore stockists and traders, and supplying ERSS contractors through multiple suppliers. You will also trade HRP, long products, and slabs to overseas customers across Southeast Asia, Australia, India and remote markets in the Middle East, Europe, North & South America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
• Solid product knowledge: Hot Roll Plate, Rebar/Sections, Slabs; ERSS familiarity is a plus.
• Strong numeracy for cost sheets, FX and freight calculations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Willingness and ability to travel when required for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Maximize profits from HRP, long products and slab sourced mainly from Southeast-Asian and Chinese mills.
• Trading HRP with Singapore Stockists and Traders
• Supplying ERSS contractors in Singapore through multiple suppliers
• Trading HRP, long products and slab to overseas customers in Southeast Asia, Australia, India as well as remote markets in Middle East, Europe North & South America
