Job summary

WeChat International Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced SRE/DevOps engineer to oversee operations of big data solutions on overseas cloud platforms. You will monitor, manage resources, and drive reliability for data services, ensuring stability across regions.

You will also build automated tools for deployment and maintenance and optimize architectures for fault tolerance and disaster recovery, collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SRE, DevOps, CloudOps, production operations, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience in resource management, deployment, and monitoring; familiar with Kubernetes and container clusters.
• Familiarity with major public cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS, including operation and management of related services.
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop, Kafka, Flink, Storm, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience developing automated operations or monitoring tools is preferred.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Shell, Python, or Go).
• Strong willingness to learn and collaborate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operations, monitoring, and resource management of big data solutions on overseas cloud platforms.
• Develop and improve automated operations tools to enhance deployment and maintenance efficiency.
• Optimize data service architectures and design public cloud solutions including fault tolerance and cross-region disaster recovery.
