Job summary

Siemens in Singapore seeks a seasoned Project Procurement Manager to lead international procurement for energy transition and digitalization projects. You will drive RFQs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations, coordinating across APAC regions and with data center centers of competence.

You will manage complex eHouses and MV/LV infrastructure sourcing, lead cost optimization, and ensure supplier performance while traveling within APAC and occasionally to Europe or India.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of international project procurement experience in tender and execution phases.
• 10+ years sourcing and supplier management across Southeast Asia and China.
• 5+ years experience managing categories/commodities (eHouses, modular structures or electrical infra).
• Strong knowledge of modular electrical buildings (eHouses), MV/LV, switchgear, transformers, UPS, and site installations.
• Proven supplier negotiations, contract management, and total cost analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel across APAC and occasionally to Europe or India.

Responsibilities

• Lead project procurement strategy with focus on sales and tender phase.
• Manage end-to-end RFQ processes for materials and services.
• Drive supplier selection, negotiations, and award recommendations.
• Develop and manage international supplier networks in APAC/SE Asia and China.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions (APAC, EMEA).
• Support supplier performance, risk mitigation, and cost optimization initiatives.
