Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering required.
• Experience in engineering sourcing or procurement in industrial automation or process industries.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Exposure to supply chain operations such as planning, logistics or order fulfilment a plus.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and purchasing activities for engineering projects involving instrumentation, control systems, and mechanical/electrical components.
• Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements to ensure accurate sourcing decisions.
• Evaluate suppliers from technical and commercial perspectives, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct technical assessments of suppliers to ensure capability to meet engineering specifications and project standards.
• Negotiate terms of contracts including pricing and delivery terms.
