Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership in Singapore seeks a Global Sourcing Specialist to drive strategic supplier selection and cost optimization in a high mix low volume manufacturing environment. You will report to the Global Sourcing Leader and lead global supplier negotiations, contracts, and partnerships with automation integrators to support business expansion.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 6–8 years of procurement experience, strong ERP/SAP knowledge, and excellent stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6–8 years in end-to-end supply chain or procurement in complex manufacturing.
• Experience dealing with matrix organizations and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong procurement and supply chain excellence; hands-on execution.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to drive improvements with global stakeholders.
• Good understanding of SAP or ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for electrical and/or mechanical components.
• Identify and qualify global suppliers for automation and integration of complex Cold Chain Industrial Solutions.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contracts, and commercial agreements.
• Build long-term partnerships with automation integrators, machine builders, and equipment manufacturers.
• Lead cost benchmarking, should-cost analysis, and total cost of ownership evaluation.

They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Global Sourcing Specialist, who is the critical point of contact in terms of ensuring smooth supplier and customer contracts management in a complex high mix low volume manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Global Sourcing Leader based in Singapore, and this position as strategic individual contributor will be focusing on the below:

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for Electrical and/or Mechanical components such as Cables & Harness, Sheet Metal etc.
• Identify and qualify global suppliers for seamless automation and integration of complex Cold Chain Industrial Solutions.
• Lead strategic supplier negotiations, contracts, and commercial agreements.
• Build long-term partnerships with automation integrators, machine builders, and equipment manufacturers to optimally support business expansion, including that of identifying opportunities to drive supplier consolidation, cost reduction, and value engineering initiatives.
• Lead cost benchmarking, should-cost analysis, and total cost of ownership evaluation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate Profile

Singapore • Permanent

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Supply Chain or Procurement Management experiences in a complex high mix low volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in acquired solution-oriented mind set to deal with complex and matrix organizational framework.
• Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge in driving Procurement and Supply Chain Excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organization to regional/ global stakeholders involved.
• Good understanding of SAP and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
