Job summary

REC Group is seeking a proactive Production Planner to translate global demand into executable production plans. You will coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing to align materials and capacity with customer needs and delivery priorities.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration across cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement of planning processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations Planning.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and advanced formulas.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience with PowerPoint and Word for reporting and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans to support global demand while optimizing capacity and resources.
• Coordinate daily with Procurement, Material Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Equipment, Process Engineering, and Process Development teams to ensure readiness.
• Analyze demand forecasts, material availability, capacity, and constraints to identify risks and solutions.
• Prepare and maintain production planning reports, dashboards, and analyses using Excel.
• Host weekly cross-functional planning meetings and communicate requirements to stakeholders.
• Monitor production performance and adjust plans in response to changes in demand or supply.
• Support scenario planning and production simulations for data-driven decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.
