Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain production plans that meet customer demand while optimizing factory capacity and inventory levels. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Customer Operations to balance demand and supply, mitigate risks, and improve on-time delivery.

You will analyze demand, capacity, WIP, and materials, drive recovery actions for constraints, and ensure data integrity in ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
3–5 years in Production Planning or Supply Chain roles.
Experience in semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing preferred.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain weekly and monthly production plans to meet demand.
Analyze demand, capacity, WIP, inventory, and material availability to create schedules.
Monitor performance and drive recovery actions for capacity/material constraints.
Coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Operations to resolve shortages and risks.
Manage WIP and balance factory loading to support cycle time and productivity targets.
Perform capacity analysis and scenario planning for changes and bottlenecks.
Track On-Time Delivery, schedule adherence, and inventory health.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.
Support business reviews with production outlook and risk assessments.
