Job summary

Council for World Mission Ltd in Singapore seeks a Mission Secretary for Peace and Development to lead planning, budgeting and implementation of peace-related programmes across member churches. You will work with ecumenical partners and report to the Deputy General Secretary-Programmes, relocating to the headquarters for a four-year term.

The role requires over five years in faith-based organizations, a relevant PG degree, and strong English communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Over five years of experience in faith-based organizations and churches in peace and development.
• Postgraduate degree in relevant area; PhD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, coordinate, implement, and evaluate peace and community development programmes across member churches.
• Engage member churches to develop medium and long-term peace programmes and advocacy.
• Collaborate with ecumenical partners to promote life-flourishing growth through development.
• Identify contemporary peace challenges and assist in conflict resolution and reconciliation strategies.
• Contribute to management tasks, including reports and strategic communication with wider communities.
