Job summary

The Council for World Mission (CWM) seeks a Mission Secretary for Peace and Development to drive peacebuilding initiatives from the Singapore headquarters for a four-year contract. You will lead planning, budgeting, and programme implementation across member churches, engaging ecumenical partners and community movements to promote life-flourishing growth.

Qualifications

• Over five years of experience in faith-based organizations and peace development.
• Postgraduate degree; PhD is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, coordinate, implement, and evaluate peace and community development programmes across member churches.
• Engage with member churches to develop medium/long-term peace programmes and conflict resolution.
• Collaborate with ecumenical partners to promote life-flourishing growth and solidarity.
• Assist management with PMER, reporting, and strategic decisions.
• Relocate to Singapore HQ for a four-year term and work regionally.
