Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for the Global Payment-Compliance team starting in 2027. You will work on developing software for payment systems, collaborating with global teams, and contributing to the development lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Develop high-quality software design and architecture for global payment systems.
Identify, prioritise and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
Review and debug code; perform validation and verification testing.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to fix and improve our products.
Document development phases and monitor systems.
Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies.
