Job summary

Nova seeks an engineering professional to advance optical metrology for semiconductors. You will develop measurement programs, perform system qualification, and support customers worldwide through on-site and remote training.

Engagement with sales and service teams, feasibility studies, and cross-functional collaboration are core aspects. Expect international travel and strong emphasis on accuracy and communication in English.

Qualifications

• Degree in physics, EE, measurement & control engineering, sensor systems, microsystems, automation or related technical discipline.
• Business-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of metrology principles and practices.
• Experience with optical measurement systems or sensors is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to ~25%.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data and identify root causes.
• Proven ability to deliver technical training and customer-facing discussions in English.
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to drive tasks to completion.
• Attention to detail in technical and commercial activities.

Responsibilities

• High level usage of optical sensors and software for dimensional measurements of semiconductors.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluations with international customers.
• Develop and configure measurement programs for optical metrology systems before delivery.
• Perform system qualification and acceptance testing at customer sites.
• Provide technical support to sales and service teams and deliver on-site and remote training.
• Other tasks as required by Management.
