Job summary

Lumilens is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead end-to-end operational execution as it scales optical transceivers and photonics products from NPI to high-volume global manufacturing.

You will own delivery, cost, quality, and capacity across Lumilens’ manufacturing ecosystem, working with OEMs, component suppliers, and internal engineering teams to translate innovation into reliable production.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in hardware, deep-tech, or advanced electronics environments.
• Experience scaling from NPI through high-volume manufacturing with ownership of yield, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Strong technical foundation in optics, semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, or related industries.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience negotiating pricing and long-term supply agreements.
• Knowledge of QMS, reliability testing, and quality standards in electronics/optics manufacturing.
• Experience across Asia-based manufacturing hubs; Singapore experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational execution for 800G/1.6T optical modules and beyond.
• Escalation authority for production, yield, capacity, quality, and supplier issues.
• Translate demand into executable build plans and supply strategies.
• Lead global manufacturing ecosystem with EMS/ODM partners, OSATs, fabs, and suppliers.
• Drive capacity planning, ramp readiness, and risk mitigation across sites.
• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements and long-term supply commitments.
• Establish dual-sourcing strategies and supplier contingency plans.
• Own COGS, BOM cost reductions, and long-term cost-down roadmaps.
• Partner with Product and Hardware Engineering to align design and manufacturing.
• Embed DFM/DFX early in the NPI lifecycle for scalable, high-yield production.
• Build scalable operating cadence: weekly build reviews, QBRs, dashboards.
• Implement demand planning, S&OP, and supplier scorecards.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team across operations and quality.
