Job summary

SOL INVICTUS ADVISORY PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned Ocean Freight leader to drive global strategy across FCL, LCL, and specialized solutions. You will oversee planning, performance and profitability, and align regional leaders to win strategic accounts while upholding high service standards.

This role requires 15+ years in freight/logistics with global exposure, strong negotiations, and the ability to lead across a matrix organization, ensuring compliance and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive freight forwarding or logistics experience with Ocean Freight leadership.
• Proven success leading a sizeable multi-country Ocean Freight business in a global/large regional org.
• Expertise in FCL and LCL, carrier negotiations, global procurement, pricing and tenders.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Ocean Freight strategy across FCL, LCL and specialized solutions.
• Own global Ocean Freight planning and performance including revenue, gross profit and budget.
• Develop priority trade lanes, gateways and consolidation strategies with market accountability.
• Lead carrier strategy, negotiations, capacity, service agreements and governance.
• Partner with regional leaders to win strategic customers and improve RFQ/tender conversions.
• Establish global product, pricing and operating standards for consistent service quality.
