Job summary

ByteDance Networking is seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer to join our global 24/7 incident response and operational stability team in Singapore. You will work on backbone, data center, and cloud networks, driving quick remediation and root-cause analysis across time zones.

You will partner with NOC analysts and cross-functional teams to improve monitoring, tooling, and automation, ensuring high availability and performance for services powering TikTok and other ByteDance apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• At least 2 years in network operations, support, or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS.
• Proven incident troubleshooting and outage response.
• Good communication across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as key engineer for global network incident response and stability.
• Support day-to-day operations of global network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with 24/7 NOC and cross-time-zone teams.
• Improve operational tooling, monitoring and automation.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal teams for RCA.
• Support maintenance and change activities.
