Job summary

Carestream is seeking a Global Service Director based in Shanghai, China, reporting to the President. You will lead the worldwide service strategy across all markets, collaborating with R&D and value chain teams to deliver world-class after-sales service through regional teams and indirect partners.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience leading technical services and service sales in medical imaging or healthcare.
• Proven experience managing P&L with accountability for service revenue and margins across regions.
• Experience reporting to C-level executives and influencing strategic decisions.
• Experience managing indirect service models through channel partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the global service delivery strategy with senior leadership.
• Represent the service function at executive meetings and board presentations.
• Manage global service P&L, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Lead regional service managers and country teams.
• Define and manage KPIs and SLAs for operational excellence.
• Build relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
• Drive service revenue through contracts, warranties, and upgrades.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair activities worldwide.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, MDR, ISO 13485) across operations.
• Lead CAPA processes and risk management for installed base.
• Recruit and develop global service leadership talent.
