Qualifications

• Up to 3 years' good relevant customer service experience.
• Experience in Marine or Shipping Industry.
• A self-starter and quick learner who can address issues and interface with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact cross-culturally with awareness of cultural differences.
• Microsoft Office skills; JD Edwards or comparable ERP platform experience.
• Multi-lingual is a plus depending on regional needs.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely processing of customer orders while meeting customer expectations.
• Manage customer inquiries – connecting with internal colleagues – and communicate customer issues as needed.
• Utilize all available platforms (GOP, ShipServ, Customer Procurement websites, Email, etc.) to identify and coordinate inquiries.
• Identify customer requirements with a general understanding of Drew Marine capabilities.
• Collaborate on customer visits with Sales to perform business reviews and discuss service performance.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable in reviewing and supporting effective collections of invoices.
• Understand Drew Marine product lines with awareness of alternatives; participate in training.
• Contribute to documentation of incomplete deliveries or fill rates.
• Other tasks and projects as assigned.
