Job summary

OM MATERIALS (S) PTE LTD is seeking an entry-level Logistics Coordinator in Singapore to support contracts, coordinate shipments, and liaise with international stakeholders. The role involves ensuring timely delivery, costing oversight, and collaboration across sales, procurement, and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor’s in a relevant field, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Entry-level candidates and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in trading, logistics, or related industries is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with international stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of sales and purchase contracts, including pricing, quantities, delivery schedules, and terms.
• Coordinate shipments, freight arrangements, and import/export documentation.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouses.
• Monitor shipment progress and ensure timely fulfilment of delivery requirements.
• Assist with market research, sourcing, sales, and business development activities.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, finance, operations, and logistics teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor freight and logistics costs and support cost optimisation.
• Prepare logistics, shipment, and operational reports.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and other projects as required.
• Overseas travel may be required for visits and events.
