Job summary

Persol is seeking an experienced logistics professional in Singapore to scale the organization’s logistics footprint across markets. You will partner with Supply Chain teams to operationalize international logistics, design scalable playbooks, and coordinate with local authorities and OPCOs.

You will lead feasibility studies from a logistics lens, manage taxation and documentation considerations, and drive data-driven insights to improve efficiency across global and local teams.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in ocean freight and road transport.
• Performance management experience in logistics metrics including cost.
• Strong data analysis and insights gathering skills.
• Ability to work with virtual stakeholders across geographies.
• Independent yet team-oriented and proactive.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple assignments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Excel, SAP or analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with Supply Chain teams to operationalize the Logistics leg in line with global growth plans.
• Design a playbook for logistics to enable easy replication and scaling.
• Coordinate with Singapore EDB for project oversight and engagement.
• Create feasibility studies from a logistics perspective and provide insights on opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with central and local OPCO teams on taxation, documentation, contracts, etc.
• Coordinate with support teams to establish system masters, code setups, lane setups, etc.
• Coordinate with global partners to add new lanes and vendors per network changes.
• Engage with digital, quality, safety, and other functions to improve process efficiency.
• Lead projects and keep stakeholders informed on status.
• Prepare data analytics for projects (cost, service, etc.).
