ByteDance’s Global Payment team delivers payment solutions to ensure a smooth and secure payment experience across our platforms and services. The role focuses on merchant operations, risk control, and localized execution across SEA and the US, driving data-driven improvements and scalable processes.

The team collaborates with sales, product, and claims to launch new merchant-facing features, optimize policies, and enhance operations ROI while maintaining high service standards for TikTok Shop

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of B-end merchant operations experience.
• Strong ability to analyse merchant needs and translate pain points into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logistics insurance operation solutions for B-end merchants including TikTok Shop sellers, cross-border freight forwarders, overseas warehouse operators, and logistics service providers.
• Build a tiered merchant operation system with differentiated pricing strategies, rebate policies, and service standards for different customer segments.
• Lead merchant risk control rule implementation and optimization, including merchant access review, adverse selection risk identification, and fraud prevention.
• Engage with local merchants, partners, and channel agents in SEA and the US, conducting bilingual (Chinese/English) communication to develop localized plans.
• Track core merchant operation KPIs and identify optimization opportunities to improve ROI and efficiency.
