Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in sales, partnerships or business development within payments or B2B; internet or fintech experience is a plus
• A demonstrated track record of developing new opportunities, closing top-tier global/regional accounts, and exceeding sales targets
• Success selling to, and building relationships with, C-level decision-makers at global top-tier retailers, Fortune 500 companies and business owners; existing networks in retail, e-commerce or related categories are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and your own style of building rapport — comfortable earning trust with almost anyone. High energy, passionate, and driven by a hustle mentality
• A genuine interest in start-up environments, where sales processes are still evolving and you help shape them
• Excellent internal and external communication, organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and sign partnerships with regional or global top-tier partners in your category
• Structure deal terms that accelerate close-won rates while protecting margin
• Build and grow relationships with key networks — leveraging existing contacts and industry events to secure meetings with decision-makers
• Continuously refresh the sales pipeline by sourcing up-and-coming players alongside established names
• Use competitive insight to sharpen selling strategy and direction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — product, tech, marketing, customer success and local BD — to move deals forward
