Job summary

GLOBAL AIRFREIGHT INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a billing-oriented team member in Singapore to manage cargo movement from terminal to warehouse and ensure timely clearance within free storage.

You will liaise with terminals, agents and OA staff, prepare LOA for valuable shipments, and coordinate transshipment operations. This role requires at least 1 year of billing experience in the airfreight industry and entails alternate Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of billing experience in airfreight required.
• Ability to coordinate with terminals and agents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cargo movement from terminal to warehouse.
• Ensure terminal clearance within free storage period.
• Follow up on discrepancies (survey, short landed shipments) and prepare tracer letters/emails for missing shipments.
• Communicate with local agents and operations staff.
• Prepare import shipment cheques.
• Prepare LOA for valuable and cold room cargo.
• Arrange transshipment transfers.
• Handle buy permits from other agents.
• Back up for colleagues as needed.
