Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank is seeking a senior technology leader to own the development, delivery and reliability of the payments ecosystem across assigned business and geographic areas. The role reports to the CIO, Cash, and focuses on payment routing, settlement, Nostro/Vostro mechanics and emerging digital rails.

You will lead a team of domain engineers and business analysts, drive engineering for complex domestic and cross-border flows, and partner with Payments Business, Product, Operations

Responsibilities

• Strategy: Execute the Payments technology strategy for the assigned business and/or geographic remit, aligned to the CIO Payments.
• Business: Partner with Business, Product, Treasury and Operations to translate client and market requirements into scalable payment technology solutions.
• Delivery & Engineering: Co-lead solution design and own engineering and delivery of complex domestic and cross-border payment flows.
• Processes & Operational Resilience: Own engineering and system delivery processes ensuring availability, scalability and compliance.
• Risk Management: Own technology delivery risks, ensure regulatory and market infrastructure compliance.
• Governance: Execute governance frameworks established by the bank.
