Job summary

Orca Global Pte. Ltd in Singapore seeks a hands-on Group Accountant to drive group reporting, consolidation and compliance across multiple entities and currencies.

You will work closely with the Financial Controller and finance team to ensure accurate consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and robust month-end processes. The role requires strong technical accounting skills, experience with SAP B1, and the ability to coordinate statutory filings, tax compliance, and audit activities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with multi-entity, multi-currency group consolidation.
• Experience in group reporting, statutory reporting and compliance.
• Ability to work with external auditors and tax compliance.
• Strong communication and learning agility, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead group & statutory reporting and consolidation across entities and currencies.
• Prepare consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow; ensure entries are complete and supported.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations, GL integrity, and month-end closing controls.
• Maintain consolidation templates and schedules; support monthly management reporting.
• Ensure SFRS compliance and group accounting policies.
• Lead annual statutory audit process with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee tax, GST and other statutory filings; coordinate with tax agents and secretarial firms.
• Act as finance system user for SAP B1; investigate issues and work with vendors.
• Support transfer pricing policy documentation and internal control improvements.
