Job summary

DM Financial Singapore is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join our growing financial reporting team. You will assist in preparing financial reports for regulated investment funds and vehicles across jurisdictions, using Excel and other reporting tools, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You will liaise with investment managers, fund administrators, auditors and clients to gather information, apply IFRS and GAAP, and contribute to process improvements while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Related Honours degree is required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Ability to plan, prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Some industry experience in accounting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Prepare supporting schedules, working papers, and financial statement disclosures using Excel and other tools.
• Prepare financial statements for a portfolio of investment funds and vehicles in compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure statements are accurate, complete, and meet client deadlines and internal standards.
• Present statements to senior team members and incorporate feedback promptly.
• Plan financial reporting engagements while managing multiple deadlines.
• Liaise with investment managers, fund administrators, auditors, and clients to obtain information.
• Research accounting issues and contribute to process improvements.
