Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join its Global Export and Sanctions Compliance team in Singapore on a 12-month contract. You will support sanctions reviews, investigate customers and partners, and document findings to ensure compliance with OFAC and EAR regulations. Knowledge of SAP GTS and Accuity Compliance Link is preferred.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in sanctions, money laundering, or terrorist financing issues.
• Experience using SAP GTS screening system and Accuity’s Compliance Link.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to apply sound ethical judgement.
• Spotting false positives of sanctioned lists using due diligence and research.

Responsibilities

• Assist Global Export and Sanctions Compliance team with sanctions compliance activities.
• Review and analyze sanctions system alerts.
• Investigate customers, business partners, and transactions per policies and SLAs.
• Escalate unusual findings related to sanctions or illicit activities.
• Gather data from internal systems, internet, third party tools, and enquiries with contacts.
• Document and summarize investigations for compliance determinations.
• Support special projects or critical casework and cross-team collaborations.
