Job summary

Akkodis Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support global export and sanctions compliance in a multinational environment. You will review sanctions alerts, investigate customers and transactions, and escalate potential issues in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires experience with sanctions, money laundering, and OFAC regulations, plus proficiency in SAP GTS and Accuity Compliance Link. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience in reviews, investigation and resolution of sanctions, money laundering, or terrorist financing issues.
Experience using SAP GTS screening system and Accuity’s Compliance Link.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving techniques.
Able to apply sound ethical judgement and spot false positives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Expertise in OFAC/Sanctions Compliance laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist Global Export and Sanctions Compliance team members in sanctions compliance activities.
Conduct reviews and analysis of sanctions system alerts.
Investigate customers, business partners, and transactions per SLAs.
Escalate unusual findings related to sanctioned individuals or activities.
Gather data from internal systems, internet, databases, and inquiries.
Document relevant investigation facts for GESC determinations.
Analyze matches and differentiate true/false positives on sanction lists.
Maintain thorough documentation of analyses performed.
Support special projects or critical casework.
Coordinate with teams to raise awareness of sanctions trends.
Assist with record keeping and documentation efforts.
Multitask; stay organized and detail oriented.
Handle additional tasks as assigned.
