Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Export Compliance Specialist to support the APAC export compliance program. The role involves reviewing shipments, supporting licensing, maintaining records, and delivering data-driven compliance reporting.

You will work with Logistics, Trade Compliance, Sales and external vendors, monitor regulatory updates, and contribute to internal audits and process improvements to ensure EAR, ECL, and APAC regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in international business, law, supply chain, logistics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in export compliance, trade compliance, customs compliance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of U.S. EAR and China's ECL.
• Experience reviewing export transactions, licensing, and trade compliance docs.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Export Compliance Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our APAC export compliance program. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with international trade regulations through shipment reviews, export license support, regulatory monitoring, record management, and compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review outbound shipments and transactions to ensure compliance with U.S., China, and APAC export control regulations
• Verify product export classifications and assess export licensing requirements.
• Prepare and support export license applications and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate compliance records, reports, and data analytics dashboards
• Support restricted and denied party screening activities and resolution of potential matches.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate relevant compliance updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with internal audits, monitoring activities, and process improvement initiatives.
• Partner closely with internal teams including Logistics, Trade Compliance, Mailroom, and Sales teams, as well as external vendors where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Law, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in export compliance, trade compliance, customs compliance, or a related field
• Working knowledge of U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and China's Export Control Law (ECL).
• Experience reviewing export transactions, export licensing, and trade compliance documentation.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Professional certifications in Export Compliance, Trade Compliance, or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of export control regulations across APAC jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) or similar trade compliance systems.

Contract Duration: 12 months | Renewable
