Job summary

ByteDance seeks a senior Data Center Services leader to guide a global edge delivery and operations team. You will own the build, operation, and maintenance of all world-wide edge PoPs (CDN, backbone, IDC) while driving automation and efficiency.

This role focuses on delivering scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure for ByteDance's expanding product ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions, strengthen operations, and optimize processes to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical disciplines.
Minimum 5 years in CDN or IDC industry.
Strong Linux, server hardware, TCP/IP, routing and switching knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead a global edge delivery and operations team across China, APAC, EMEA, and AMS; define strategic roadmap and provide guidance.
Own build, operation, and maintenance of global edge PoPs (CDN, backbone, IDC); optimize SLAs and reliability.
Strengthen engineering capabilities in network and server operations; build automation; promote learning and productivity.
Design and implement efficient operational workflows; integrate with platforms and automation solutions.
Serve as the main interface with business users and vendors; ensure cross-team collaboration and issue resolution.
