Job summary

caliber8 is seeking a dry bulk operations professional to manage the end-to-end operation of vessels trading worldwide from our Singapore base. The role focuses on voyage execution, planning, bunkering and performance monitoring to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

You will coordinate with vessels, owners and port agents, review charterparties and handle post-fixture matters, while leveraging IMOS for voyage accounting and P&L analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with at least three years of dry bulk operations or related shipping experience.
• Hands-on experience with IMOS and voyage accounting.
• Knowledge of charterparties, IMO, MARPOL and RightShip requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Mandarin or Japanese proficiency would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage voyage operations from fixture to completion.
• Coordinate with vessels, owners, charterers, brokers and port agents.
• Handle voyage planning, bunkering and vessel performance monitoring.
• Review charterparty terms and manage post-fixture matters.
• Prepare freight invoices, hire statements and voyage P&L analysis.
• Handle laytime, demurrage, off-hire and performance claims.
• Perform voyage accounting and financial reconciliation using IMOS.
