Job summary

ANGLE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. client requires a Dry Bulk Vessel Operator to oversee post-fix vessel operations for a dry bulk fleet. You will lead end-to-end voyage execution, liaise with vessels, charterers, brokers and internal teams to ensure safe and efficient performance.

In this role you will manage 12-13 vessels, optimize costs, monitor KPIs and handle laytime, demurrage and documentation with a focus on minimizing commercial exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ dry bulk operations experience, in post-fixture, loading, unloading, demurrage.
• Exceptional knowledge of dry bulk Charter Party Agreement, laytime, demurrage and voyage economics.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end dry bulk vessel operations from fixture to voyage completion for 12-13 vessels.
• Ensure alignment with Charter Party Agreement; respond promptly to events, handle laytime, demurrage/dispatch and claims.
• Oversee voyage instructions, scheduling, port calls, cargo operations, bunkering and performance.
• Coordinate with Masters, charterers, brokers, agents, terminals and suppliers.
• Monitor vessel positions, bunker consumption, speed and operational KPIs.
• Optimise voyage costs (bunkers, port expenses, agency fees).
• Manage cargo documentation, bills of lading and letters of indemnity.
• Resolve operational issues and disputes to minimise commercial exposure.

Our client, a global MNC requires a Dry Bulk Vessel Operator to oversee post-fix vessel operations of its dry bulk fleet. You will ensure safe, efficient and optimised voyage execution while coordinating closely with vessels, charterers, brokers, agents and internal teams.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, key responsibilities include:

• Manage end-to-end dry bulk vessel operations from fixture to voyage completion for 12-13 vessels
• Ensure alignment with Charter Party Agreement; respond promptly to events, handle laytime, demurrage/dispatch and claims
• Oversee voyage instructions, scheduling, port calls, cargo operations, bunkering and performance

Requirements

• Degree/professional qualification in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics or related field
• 5+ years’ dry bulk operations experience, in post-fixture, loading, unloading, demurrage
• Exceptional knowledge of dry bulk Charter Party Agreement, laytime, demurrage and voyage economics
• Experience with Handysize/Supramax vessels preferred
