Job summary

Micron is seeking a Director of Central NPM & Inventory Control to lead global Assembly & Test NPM execution and inventory governance. You will drive end-to-end NPI, improve OTD, and optimize cycle times across a distributed network, partnering with PDT, SCP, Manufacturing, and Business Units.

The role requires 15+ years in semiconductor ops with global team leadership, expertise in NPI, inventory optimization, and AI-enabled planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering.
MBA/EMBA or Master's in Supply Chain/Operations preferred.
15+ years in semiconductor operations, supply chain planning, and NPI management.
5+ years leading global teams.
Experience in Assembly & Test operations and NPI/sample operations.
Experience leading large-scale planning transformation and inventory optimization.

Responsibilities

Lead Global Central NPM Organization and establish governance, cadence, and bench strength.
Drive end-to-end NPI execution, ensure alignment with customer commitments, and improve MAD/OTD metrics.
Own inventory health and control strategy; reduce aging and excess inventory; improve inventory turns.
Improve cycle time and throughput; drive CT governance and loading predictability.
Lead planning transformation; automate manual planning; enable AI-assisted planning.
Provide executive-level recommendations during supply disruptions and NPI escalation.
