Job summary

DayOne is seeking an EHS Specialist to support governance and assurance of GC EHS across data centre operations and construction projects. You will manage onboarding, qualification, compliance, data tracking, audits, and field observations, helping to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with the EHS Manager, GC site teams, and broader EHS function to deliver accurate reporting and timely action closure across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of EHS experience in construction, projects, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of EHS management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in data tracking, reporting, and document control.

Responsibilities

• Assist in GC EHS onboarding and qualification process from engagement to site mobilization.
• Review GC EHS management systems, plans, risk assessments, and emergency docs; flag gaps for decision.
• Maintain GC EHS compliance framework and ensure permits, certifications, and records are current.
• Manage EHS data trackers, dashboards, and registers across sites and regions.
• Support audits and inspections with evidence gathering and reporting.
• Administer site observation and field assurance programs; track safety observations and findings.
• Prepare regular EHS performance reports and summaries for stakeholders.
