Space Executive is partnering to appoint a Compliance Counsel to join its established legal and compliance team in Singapore. The role covers corporate compliance, governance and regulatory matters across markets, and advises stakeholders on practical, business-focused compliance solutions within a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with approximately 5-6 years' PQE.
• Experience in corporate compliance, regulatory advisory or investigations.
• Background in general corporate / M&A is highly relevant.

Responsibilities

• Advise on corporate compliance, governance and regulatory matters across the business.
• Support implementation of group-wide compliance policies, frameworks and internal controls.
• Advise on compliance considerations arising from new initiatives, commercial arrangements and strategic projects.
• Support matters relating to anti-bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, sanctions, third-party risk and other corporate compliance areas.
• Conduct and support internal compliance reviews, risk assessments and investigations where required.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on the business.
• Work with regional and local teams to ensure consistent implementation of group standards.
• Develop and deliver compliance guidance and training to internal stakeholders.
• Support broader corporate, governance and strategic matters as required.
