Job summary

air energi group singapore pte. ltd. is seeking a Commodity Manager to own and execute sourcing strategies for metals, castings, machined components, and fabricated parts across Asia. You will collaborate with engineering, operations and quality teams to drive value and supply continuity.

The role requires a degree in a related field, strong experience in commodity management, and a proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage performance. Travel of up to 15-25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Proven experience in commodity/category management in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of raw materials, metalworking, machining, fabrication, casting or forging supply chains.
• Track record of supplier negotiations and cost savings.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15-25% across Asia.

Responsibilities

• Own, develop and execute sourcing strategy for raw metals, castings, forgings, machined components, fabricated parts, and engineered assemblies across Asia.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contract management and cost reduction initiatives.
• Drive supplier performance in quality, delivery, cost and capacity.
• Partner with engineering, operations and quality teams on sourcing, NPI and productivity projects.
• Mitigate supply risks and support supply continuity through supplier development and market analysis.
