Job summary

Talent Trader Group seeks an experienced Senior Global Commodity Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management activities across Asia in the MNC Manufacturing sector. The role covers direct materials, outsourced services, and end-to-end supplier negotiations.

The ideal candidate has aerospace procurement and commodity management experience, plus a strong background in cost reduction, contract management, and knowledge of AS9100/Nadcap requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace procurement and commodity management.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, cost reduction and contract management.
• Knowledge of supplier requirements such as AS9100, Nadcap and customer flow-downs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional/global commodity and sourcing strategies.
• Manage direct materials and outsourced services across suppliers.
• Lead supplier negotiations, pricing strategies, LTAs and commercial agreements.
• Drive cost savings through benchmarking, should-cost, PPV and other cost-analysis initiatives.
• Manage supplier capacity, lead time, delivery performance and supply continuity risks.
• Lead supplier sourcing, qualification, transition and performance improvement activities.
• Evaluate RFQs/RFPs and support strategic contract negotiations.
• Work across sites on demand/supply planning, shortages, expedites and inventory optimisation.
• Manage sourcing requirements covering capital equipment, MRO/tooling, repairs and related services.
