Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD client is seeking an Operations Executive to support end-to-end execution of physical commodity trades across international markets. You will manage contract execution, shipment planning and shipping documentation, invoicing and payments.

The role requires 5–6 years of relevant experience in commodity execution/operations, with familiarity in LC/LOI, charter parties and demurrage/laytime advantageous. Strong coordination and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

5–6 years of relevant commodity execution/operations experience.
Experience in sugar, agri commodities or other physical commodities preferred.
Good understanding of international shipping and trade documentation.
Familiarity with LCs, LOIs, charter parties and demurrage/laytime will be advantageous.
Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Manage contract execution and shipment planning.
Coordinate with suppliers, shippers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
Handle shipping documentation, invoicing and payment follow-ups.
Manage claims, settlements and related operational matters.
Monitor shipments closely and proactively resolve issues.
