Job summary

BNP Paribas Asset Management in Singapore seeks a Business Development Officer to drive commercial growth for Retail, Wealth, and Institutions. You will support sales, client onboarding, and proposal management while coordinating across Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Investment teams to ensure high‑quality client engagement and orderly execution.

The role emphasizes accuracy, discipline, and strong communication skills to align with BNPP AM conduct and client service standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline; CFA/CAIA or equivalent qualification would be an advantage.
• Relevant experience in asset management, financial services, business development, distribution support, client service, sales operations or proposal management.
• Good understanding of investment products, capital markets, asset management distribution and intermediary / wealth management client segments.
• Experience supporting RFPs/RFIs, client onboarding, KYC/KYI processes, mandate documentation, sales reporting and pipeline management.
• Strong written and spoken English; additional Southeast Asian language capability would be an advantage.
• High level of accuracy, discretion, professionalism and commitment to compliance and conduct standards.

Responsibilities

• Support prospection and client engagement with presentations, pitchbooks and market updates.
• Coordinate pricing discussions, mandate structuring and proposal development with product and investment teams.
• Prepare and coordinate RFPs/RFIs and client proposals with stakeholders to ensure timely, client‑focused responses.
