Job summary

The Ethereum Foundation is seeking a Project Manager (Academic Engagements) to build and scale collaborations with universities, research labs, and academic communities worldwide. You will translate ecosystem needs into structured research initiatives and education programs across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing academic programs, research partnerships, or university collaborations.
• Demonstrated success coordinating multi-stakeholder projects with measurable outcomes.
• Experience working with diverse, distributed teams across time zones.
• A PhD and experience doing academic research is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Translate Ethereum research priorities into questions and research opportunities for scholars.
• Identify academic communities and researchers whose work intersects with Ethereum problems.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with universities, labs, and consortia globally.
• Design and scale academic programs (workshops, curricula, hackathons, lecture series).
• Collaborate with EF teams to connect needs with scholars and institutions.
• Drive distribution of research through events and publications.
• Develop and support funding pathways for academic research with Funding Coordination.
• Track program impact and report outcomes and ecosystem value.
