Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned GIS leader to provide technical direction for enterprise geospatial platforms, guide cloud migration, and drive infrastructure modernisation in a government-oriented context.

You will design hybrid GIS architectures, oversee data governance, and coordinate with vendors to ensure high availability, security, and compliant operations across the platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Geomatics, GIS, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years as Technical Lead/GIS Solution Architect or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise GIS projects through full project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise components.
• Experience supporting production GIS platforms with high availability and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for enterprise geospatial platforms and related systems.
• Support architecture design, cloud migration, upgrades, and infrastructure modernisation.
• Plan and execute GIS platform upgrades, cloud migrations and disaster recovery exercises.
• Design cloud-native and hybrid GIS architectures on AWS, Azure, GCC, or equivalent platforms.
• Design GIS integration patterns including REST APIs, web services, and SFTP data exchanges.
• Manage geospatial data architectures including geodatabases, metadata, data governance, and lifecycle management.
• Conduct technical assessments, sizing exercises, root cause analysis, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate with vendors to manage system implementation, upgrades, support, and service delivery.
• Analyse requirements and develop scalable GIS solutions.
• Perform related duties to support enterprise geospatial platforms and services.
