Job summary

JIB Specialist Consultants Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Registered Specialist Professional Engineer (Geotechnical) to lead design, analysis, and coordination for geotechnical engineering projects.

You will review calculations, drawings, and submissions, liaise with authorities and clients, and ensure compliance with COPs and local regulations. The role offers flexible working arrangements and exposure to diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Registered Specialist Professional Engineer (Geotechnical) with PEB in Singapore.
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in civil and structural/geotechnical projects in Singapore.
• Familiar with COPs, regulations, and submission procedures.
• Good technical, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out design, analysis, and coordination for geotechnical (GBW) engineering projects.
• Prepare and endorse Geotechnical engineering calculations, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Review and coordinate geotechnical works including foundation design, ERSS, slope stability, deep excavation, and ground improvement works.
• Involve in Qualified Person Supervision (QPS) Projects.
• Liaison with consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and engineering standards.
• Attend technical meetings and site inspections where required.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
