Job summary

SJ Group invites a Senior Executive Engineer to contribute to detailed geotechnical designs, assessments, coordination and site inspections for infrastructure projects in Singapore.

You will handle geotechnical design and analysis, plan and supervise works, and liaise with stakeholders while ensuring compliance with prevailing standards. The role involves guiding junior engineers and supporting project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Geotechnical Engineering with pavement minor.
• At least 5 years design experience in geotechnical and pavement projects.
• Familiar with Eurocodes and authorities submission requirements.
• Proficient in geotechnical design software (Plaxis, GeoStudio).
• Experience with airfield pavement design is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Geotechnical design, analysis and assessment for ground improvement, foundation, excavation, slope and instrumentation.
• Plan, design, supervise and coordinate geotechnical/civil works for infrastructural projects.
• Ensure compliance with statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice.
• Liaise with stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Assist Team Leader in maintaining high design and supervision quality and guide junior engineers.
