Job summary

JIB Specialist Consultants Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Registered Specialist Professional Engineer (Geotechnical) to lead design, analysis, and coordination of geotechnical projects, ensuring compliance with COPs and local authorities.

You will prepare calculations, drawings, and submissions, review foundation and slope stability works, and supervise QPS projects while liaising with consultants and contractors for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Registered Specialist Professional Engineer (Geotechnical) with Professional Engineer Board (PEB) in Singapore
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant geotechnical engineering experience in Singapore; familiar with COPs, regulations, and submission procedures
• Good technical, coordination, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Carry out design, analysis, and coordination for geotechnical (GBW) engineering projects.
• Prepare and endorse geotechnical engineering calculations, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Review and coordinate geotechnical works including foundation design, ERSS, slope stability, deep excavation, and ground improvement works.
• Involve in Qualified Person Supervision (QPS) Projects.
• Liaison with consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and engineering standards.
• Attend technical meetings and site inspections where required.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
