Job summary

DP Engineers Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a geotechnical engineer to create analytical 2D and 3D models using Plaxis 2D/3D, perform detailed earth retaining structures and slope stability design, and prepare design calculation reports and drawings.

You will review soil investigation reports, interpret results, advise on ground monitoring instruments, and participate in design and site meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
• Proficiency with Plaxis 2D/3D software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage projects.
• Knowledge of Eurocode design procedures.
• Familiar with local building regulations for geotechnical work.
• Preferably 3 years’ consultancy experience in geotechnical design.

Responsibilities

• Create analytical 2D and 3D models using Plaxis 2D/3D.
• Carry out geotechnical design and calculations for earth retaining structures and slope stability.
• Prepare design calculation reports and drawings.
• Review soil investigation reports and prepare interpretative reports.
• Advise on ground monitoring instruments, and review monitoring results.
• Attend design and site meetings, when required.
