Job summary

Strader Consult Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a geotechnical engineer to execute design and analysis for foundations, ERSS, and excavation works. You will review soil data, prepare technical reports and coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with authority submissions.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Geotechnical degree and 2–3 years of geotechnical experience, with PLAXIS proficiency and knowledge of local standards. This role is office-based with site coordination as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience with PLAXIS 2D/3D or similar geotechnical software.
• Familiarity with Singapore codes, standards and authority requirements is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out geotechnical analysis and design for foundations, ERSS, deep excavations, retaining structures, slopes and ground improvement works.
• Review and interpret soil investigation data and geotechnical parameters.
• Prepare design calculations, technical reports, drawings and authority submissions.
• Perform geotechnical modelling and analysis using relevant engineering software.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical support and attend design/site coordination meetings as required.
