Job summary

DP Engineers Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a geotechnical engineer to create analytical 2D and 3D models using Plaxis 2D/3D, perform detailed earth retaining structures and slope stability design, and prepare design calculation reports and drawings.

You will review soil investigation reports, interpret results, advise on ground monitoring instruments, and participate in design and site meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
• Proficiency with Plaxis 2D/3D software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage projects.
• Knowledge of Eurocode design procedures.
• Familiar with local building regulations for geotechnical work.
• Preferably 3 years’ consultancy experience in geotechnical design.

Requirements:

• Graduated with Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering;
• Familiar with Plaxis 2D/3D software;
• Good communication and inter-personal skills, and project management skills;
• Familiar with Eurocode design procedures;
• Familiar with local building regulations regarding geotechnical work;
• Preferably 3 years’ experience in geotechnical design in a consultancy firm.
