Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to investigate and resolve customer complaints and product failures, and to provide after-sales technical support and on-site service to distributors and end customers in Singapore.

The role covers reviewing warranty claims, supporting field installations and training, and participating in standby rotation for 24/7 emergency support across the Asia Pacific region.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, commissioning, and on-site training for customers, in line with the project scope.
• Provide timely after-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and on-site service to keep customers' equipment operational.
• Service and support a wide range of diesel generator sets, from small to large capacity.
• Keep all technical and training documentation current and well organized.
• Deliver targeted training to distributors and dealers on servicing and troubleshooting, so service quality stays high across the network.
• Maintain close relationships with key customers and follow each issue through to resolution.
• Provide technical assistance during factory testing of special projects.
• Investigate the root causes of failures and recommend corrective solutions.
• Handle the technical side of warranty discussions with customers.
• Take on other service and training duties as assigned.
