Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking a technically experienced service leader to provide on-site acceptance testing, commissioning, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance at customer sites in the Asia Pacific region.

The role includes training, supervising and coaching junior service engineers both internally and with distributors to raise technical capability and service quality across the network, while driving continuous improvement in aftermarket processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions.
• Strong presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong customer service orientation and a genuine interest in power generation products.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
• Lead or participate in the commissioning of system projects at customer sites.
• Provide technical assistance during factory testing of special projects.
• Investigate the root causes of engine failures and recommend corrective solutions.
• Deliver timely after-sales technical support and on-site service to distributors and dealers.
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and keep equipment performing at its best.
• Prepare and maintain detailed service reports, logs, and other documentation for field service activities.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products, services, and related technologies.
• Guide and train junior field service engineers and other technical staff.
• Run targeted training for distributors and dealers on servicing and troubleshooting, so that service quality stays consistently high across the network.
• Assess the technical capability of distributors and dealers.
• Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams (engineering, sales, customer support), and other stakeholders.
• Drive process improvement and help develop better service procedures.
• Take on other service and training duties as assigned.
