The National Heart Centre Singapore is seeking a Genetic Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This role involves delivering comprehensive genetic counselling services for patients referred to the cardiovascular genetics service, including both pre- and post-counselling, for hereditary cardiac conditions.

As a Genetic Counsellor, you will manage patient intakes, analyse genetic variants, coordinate testing processes, and deliver clear counselling guidance. Working closely with our multidisciplinary medical team, you will handle referrals, contribute to research initiatives, and provide genetic education to healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and maintain high standards of patient confidentiality and ethical practice.

Requirements:

1. Master’s degree in Genetic Counselling (or equivalent).

2. At least 2 years’ relevant clinical experience with demonstrated competency in genetic counselling.

3. Demonstrated computer literacy with experience in MS office, databases, presentations and pedigree drawing software.
