Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a technically skilled technician in Jurong West to install electrical components, sensors and engine wiring according to drawings. You will perform mechanical installation, engine maintenance and alignment, with 2–4 years hands-on experience and an ITE or equivalent technical certification. Basic salary up to SGD 3200 with variable bonus, excellent welfare, career progression and company transport provided.

Qualifications

• We require ITE or relevant technical certification and 2-4 years of hands-on experience.
• Electrical hands-on experience is essential.
• Knowledge of hydraulic starting systems, marine gearboxes and control panels is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical components, sensors, transmitters, control panels and engine wiring per drawings.
• Assemble engines, alternators, radiators, gearboxes, couplings, piping and related components.
• Maintain engines and alternators, including disassembly/assembly and valve lash.
• Align engine, alternator and radiator assemblies for proper installation.
• Prepare generators for load testing and perform safety/load tests with recorded parameters.
• Diagnose and repair engines and generators using service tools and ET diagnostics.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Working location: Jurong West (Company Transport Provided)

Working day: Monday to Friday

Working hours: 8am to 5.10pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform installation of electrical components, sensors, transmitters, control panels and engine wiring according to technical drawings.
• Carry out mechanical installation and assembly of engines, alternators, radiators, gearboxes, couplings, piping, hoses and related components.
• Perform engine maintenance works, including disassembly/assembly, valve lash adjustment and general servicing of engines and alternators.
• Conduct alignment works for engine, alternator and radiator assemblies to ensure proper installation and operation.
• Prepare generators for load testing and carry out safety device and load tests, including recording and monitoring required parameters.
• Perform engine and generator diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs using appropriate service tools and ET diagnostic tools.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Possess ITE or relevant technical certification with minimum 2-4 years relevant hands‑on experience.
• Electrical hands‑on experience is a must.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Staring System, Marine Gearbox, AC Power Alternator, alignment, control panel and testing will of advantage.
