About the Role

We are assisting a global leader within the premium consumer sector to seek an experienced General Manager to lead their Singapore business . This is a high-impact leadership role with full P&L accountability and direct oversight of Sales, Marketing, and Trade Marketing functions. The ideal candidate brings deep commercial expertise across both on-trade and off-trade channels, along with a proven track record in distributor and wholesaler management.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full P&L responsibility for the market, driving profitable growth across all business units
• Directly lead and develop Sales, Marketing, and Trade Marketing teams, ensuring alignment on commercial strategy and execution
• Build and execute channel strategies across on-trade (bars, restaurants, hospitality) and off-trade (retail, e-commerce, wholesale) segments
• Manage and strengthen relationships with distributor and wholesaler partners, including contract negotiation, performance management, and route-to-market optimization
• Translate global brand strategy into locally relevant marketing and trade activation plans
• Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and consumer insights to inform commercial decision-making
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, and global category teams to ensure operational excellence
• Represent the company with key trade partners, industry stakeholders, and at market events

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in FMCG/consumer goods, with prior GM, Country Manager, or senior Sales/Marketing leadership experience
• Demonstrated success managing both on-trade and off-trade channels
• Strong track record in distributor/wholesaler management, including negotiation and performance optimization
• Experience leading integrated Sales, Marketing, and Trade Marketing functions
• P&L ownership experience in a matrixed, multinational organization
• Strong commercial acumen paired with strategic and analytical thinking
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
